Ebony Lyons is the Online Team Manager at Loans Unlimited, bringing seven years of experience as a finance broker, five of them with the Loans Unlimited team.
Born in Thailand and raised in country Perth around Lower Chittering, Ebony spent her teenage years working in hospitality, where she first discovered how much she enjoyed talking to people and helping them out. That love of customer service, paired with an appetite for hard work, led her into finance broking, a career that let her keep the people-first side of hospitality while building a healthier work-life balance.
Ebony’s favourite place in Perth is Moore River and Guilderton, somewhere she loved visiting as a kid and still returns to whenever she can. On weekends, she’s cheering for the West Coast Eagles.
Her advice for anyone considering a car loan or finance approval: there’s no one-size-fits-all product.
“Do not apply for the first rate or bank you see, as everyone has their own criteria. This can hurt your credit and ruin your chance at a great deal.”
Instead, she recommends speaking with a broker who can match you to the right lender without the guesswork, or the hit to your credit score.
